Recent widow finds out she's pregnant with triplets

Having a baby can be one of the most joyous events in a woman’s life. When a woman finds out she is having more than one baby at the same time, she may feel a little overwhelmed, but still overjoyed. Courtney Hill of Sherman, TX, is one of those women. She found out she is having triplets, so she is excited, but stressed. She is also feeling sad and alone since her husband died recently.
Hill’s husband, a retired Navy veteran, Brian Hill, 40, died in a traffic accident while working delivering a load of goods in nearby Oklahoma. Brian wasn’t even aware that his wife was pregnant, according to CBS News. Courtney’s sister, Amanda Wiley of Libertyville, Ill. said to ABC News that her sister and brother-in-law have a one-year-old daughter, Reagan, but had been trying to have more kids.

Amanda told ABC News that the Hills had been trying to conceive for four months before the accident. "The morning of his accident, they had taken a pregnancy test together and it was negative,” she said. “I knew it was too early for Courtney to be taking a pregnancy test and so, she took [another test] on the fifth. That was the day of [Brian's] wake. She took it in the morning and found out she was pregnant.”
In an on-camera interview with CBS, Courtney explained that the day of Brian's wake, she was able to hold his hand and tell him the news of the pregnancy.
Courtney didn’t know she was pregnant with triplets until she went to the hospital afraid that she was having a miscarriage. "[We were] shocked and very excited," Willey said of the news. "We feel it is a blessing."
Courtney told ABC News that even though Brian is gone, she’ll do everything she can to keep his memory alive. "They will all know about their dad," she said. "From military, to family man ... he was the true hero. He was an amazing man, always willing to help others. He was just an amazing father and husband. He was perfect."
Amanda set up a GoFundMe page for her sister to help offset the expenses of having triplets and the loss of income.
